The Darling Buds of ......January?

Continuing my early Spring theme: the lilac bush is showing early buds, and hopefully I'll get an even better display than last year. 

Beautiful blue sky today, and it is nice and bright compared with yesterday, where it was dark the whole day long.

I'm thinking seriously about my New Year's Resolutions, although I haven't written anything down (can't be held to account for them that way!).  One of my decisions is to try to spend much less time online each day, so as to free up more time to read, watch TV, do other stuff in general.

I got a bit carried away with Blip and FB through the dark winter nights, and love all the people I chat to / comment with so much that it is a real addiction to get home and just start looking them up.  So, to counteract this I'm trying to post my Blip at lunchtime more often, and then I won't be so tempted to get the laptop out when I get home. 

Surely that will be easier than stopping drinking for the whole month of January?  (Which is why I won't be stopping until February!)
