Spiral in the Sand

Our weather is experiencing a warming trend, so we took advantage of the sun and nice temperatures to walk along the beach in Oceanside. This lovely spiral was created by someone, and a little girl was walking in the path as we were passing. It reminded me of the scene in Wizard of Oz when Dorothy begins her journey on the yellow brick road. I had some other shots, including a sunset, but this seemed like the most unrepeatable image. There is a sea lion on the dark rock in the water, if you look closely.
