Mud

Splodging along the track on the dog walk and the sun appeared. Colour saturation hasn't been tweaked. This was the colour of a small corner of north west Lancashire at around 12.30pm today.

Other aspects of the shot have definitely been toyed with, including a touch of 'Polaroid Transfer' filter from google's Nik Collection.

Have just installed Himself's pale grey background for Blip, which is much calmer on the eye. Have also just noticed that Saatchi Art website use a similar background colour. I suspect they spent a bob or two researching this.
