don't mess with me!

The lengths a Robin will go to in order to get a the fat balls! Yep, he's inside the fat ball holder - the fat ball holder that the squirrels have been stealing the fat balls from.  I need some squirrel proof feeders, but will have to keep this one so Mr or Mrs Robin can have a wee feeding cage! 

A wet school run meant the boys were excused the first day of my walk to school campaign, but it went very sunny and lovely later so they walked home.  A shiny pound will go in our alps trip savings pot - Marmots and a trip on the Eurostar are the motivator for walking rather than driving to school so we can save petrol money and they'll be exercised each day.  

C is very chuffed this afternoon, they went to the high school home economic dept to learn how to make crudities and dip - i've just been instructed on how to hold vegetables while cutting them.  Hooray for school! I may have a new helper available in the kitchen :-)
