Nearly didn't bother - then a rush of pink

Rushed shot. Will try again with the vibrant Christmas cactus flower when I am feeling more vibrant myself.
Or perhaps if I take more photos I will become more vibrant. I wonder if it can work like that.
Feel there is potential in these flowers if I have the patience to fiddle with lights and settings. Today was not the day for that.
