Sunshine and Showers

A fairly good day - sunshine, and showers, some of which are very wintry. A stormy few days ahead by all accounts - early ferries have already been cancelled. This is taken from Eoropie machair, looking towards what is known locally as "The Eye", a natural arch in the rock whcih I am afraid you can't quite make it out on this photo! Legend has it that the Vikings liked the Hebrides so much they used this to try and tow the island away.....
