Looking forward

So, Christmas officially came to an end today in our house. Tree down, decorations packed away, cards ready to recycle. Saw Lucy off on the train before the first day back at the Morning Job, so the house seems rather quiet and empty.

However, a new year, new adventures! Mentioned to Tom, my son, some time earlier in the year, that sea kayaking looks fun - and he's given me the gift of half a day doing just that. Wow!

Hopefully this will also be an incentive to get a little bit lighter fitter in preparation...
