Here Today, Gone Today?
A month ago I blipped the swift and sad end of a healthy tree in a garden. It had been planted thirty years ago too near to the buildings and its roots were causing problems.
Today's blip is a much older and much larger tree. Huge, actually. Again a building and a tree are too-close neighbours. And again roots are the problem.
This time though it seems likely that the tree was there first! And the equally sad end will certainly not be as swift.
