Alexandra Road, Dublin Docklands
Bright blue clear-etched day.
Drove the wean to school, then Sam into the cafe near work (for a chat and full Irish breakfast). Thence to the docklands, where I refreshed my security pass.
Not that much happening in Alexandra basin. There were two boats in port (I think) and some container-shifting activity. Nothing large though and the Odlums/R&H Hall end was virtually deserted apart from some lorry traffic and billowing clouds of grain (the warehouses appeared to be full). Plenty of dreamspaces between the occasional rumblings and heavy unloading. But a weekday on the docks, even if it's fairly low activity, is no place to daydream. I didn't hang about for long and shot this just outside the port area, before heading out to Pat's studio again, to photograph more of his paintings.
