Not much progress...

being made on clearing the road after the rain soaked the snow and this after many hours of plowing...it is just SO heavy. If you stood outside last night you could hear the trees creaking and then the boom as one would fall over. Power knocked out at 6 PM but at least there were fireworks as the transformer blew in the distance! I cooked the husband a bacon and tomato sandwich on the wood burning stove...I had a hot toddy.
