I'm sure this should have been dead headed long ago but I spotted this hydrangea from the kitchen window and was surprised there was still some fading colour on it - grabbed the camera and ran outside to take a few shots, only got a couple before the rain came on - I'm sure there's a rain spot in the middle of this but as the light had gone by the time it stopped raining I'm going with it as the alternative would be sleeping Coco - again! Not that she's slept that much today, despite being wet we have had two excellent dog walks.
Story time in the library tomorrow, I think I'm going with a fairy tale theme so going now to practice my telling of Whuppity Stoorie.
