Shades of grey and splashes of light......

I pass this building most days in my new role as grandchildren minder ( back blips will eventually catch up and explain)
It is sheltered housing for the elderly.
I particularly like the materials that have been used. There is wooden clap boarding which is fading and mellowing to a lovely greyish brown and what looks to be zinc or some sort of galvanised metal. Overall it has a soft and restful look about it and in the grey drizzle of this morning, it had started to blur with the landscape apart from the glow of the lights inside.
I suppose it's an odd choice, but it appealed to me this morning.
