The Wolseley

Met Janet, my lovely sister in law for brunch at The Wolsey today. This beautiful restaurant occupies a fabulous Grade 2* listed building next door to the Ritz in Piccadilly. Originally it was a car showroom for Wolseley Motors and then a branch of Barclays between 1927 and 1999. 

I had scrambled eggs (well done naturally) with smoked salmon and several cups of Earl Grey tea. oh, and a glass of champagne (of course). It was lovely to catch up and we have agreed that we should make a promise to each other to meet up regularly.
