Mini reunion...

...not the best photo in the world,  but I wanted to post a shot of our get together. It was for the occasion of Christina's visit from Sweden (she is sitting back left). Her partner bought her the ticket as a surprise  Christmas  present, so she could go to a 40th birthday bash in their old home town ( he's a Yorkshire man...). She took the opportunity to catch up with as many old friends as possible - and our window in her hectic social schedule was this evening!
We visited Christina & David in Karlstad last year via Oslo, and we're planning to go again later in the year, but via Stockholm thus time.
Sarah (back right) is off soon to teach in Austria for a few months.  I was their friend and mentor when we all worked together - so maybe I do have some wise old owl tendencies after all...
