The Railway Children was one of our Sunday afternoon movies growing up. Since buying it on DVD a couple of years ago I now insist on sitting down to watch it with mum every time that I am home.

So, tonight, sitting in the middle of the first row for the stage show was absolutely wonderful. I will be smiling about that for a while to come!

Lovely day in London spent with dear 'Edinburgh friends'; Waterloo Station lunch chat with Cam, Joe & The Juice catch-up with Amy, Caravan dinner with Michele and, of course, The Railway Children with Ruth & Michele. I can quite enjoy coffee shops & theatre trips by myself but what a joy it is to share with friends :-)
