Great Tit (Parus major)

Little inspiration today so I resorted to a few shots through the newly cleaned living room window.  The Great Tit won.  This female (almost certainly female) was busy back and forward from the bush to the feeder.

Great Tits are a bit of a success having increased by four % in last 40 years when many other species have been decreasing.  If anyone is wondering about the almost yellow background  it is a Holly with golden edges to the leaves several yards behind the feeders.

The evening we were out with Kanyl (my brother) and Mrs Kanyl celebrating Clickchick's birthday.  CC decided she would like a change and have Thai so we went to a local hotel/restaurant that has a Thai night on Tuesdays.  A very pleasant surprise authentic Thai food served by authentic Thais and at a very reasonable price for  a 4 course meal, coffee and a bottle of wine for the four of us.
