Amelie had to dress as a character from her favourite book for her first day back. When i first asked her to help choose she was a bit obsessed with The Smelly Sprout but definitely did not want to be a sprout, smelly or otherwise. Then she suggested Katie Morag, I found a tartan skirt and that was that. I think it suited her well!

Isaac is absolutely fine after his escapades yesterday. He slept all night on his mattress next to me, and i didnt wake either until 7.30. Should have been up at 7, woops!

We have had a nice day today and Amelie is happy to be back at school.

Oh and our orange recycling bags were finally delivered! Chris was over the moon.

Better remember to set my alarm tonight as Chris is off early again....
