Torridon Hills

We were a little late getting out as some people were going home and others staying. It turned out a much better day than forecast, so we went on a walk from Poolewe down to the north of Loch Kernsary to the farm at Kernsary and back by the River Ewe. There was little wind and it was  pleasant in the sun. There was enough cloud to give atmospheric views of the Torridon Hills. Most prominent are Baosbheinn, Beinn an Eoin and Beinn a' Chearcaill. The higher Torridon Munros are more in the cloud. The views were some of the best we've had for a long time and a reminder of just what a wonderful place the north west of Scotland can be.
