Orange Shortbread

First homebaked item of the year. Delicious even if I do say so myself. Trying to limit myself to no more than two a day.

A very busy one today and I was glad to see the most beautiful blue clear sky every now and then punctuating the day and promising spring in the very distant future.

I'm feeling dreadful about being disorganised about a good friends birthday. It's 1am the day after and I am just writing him a card now. I've also written a card with a lengthy letter in it in an attempt to catch up with my Auntie who I sadly didn't manage to see over the Christmas period despite efforts. Slowly, slowly I'm starting to get back into the swing of things!
