Got the boot

Another gloomy overcast day today, with showers of rain throughout the day. It would be nice to see some sun again!

This old boot has obviously lost its owner. It has been on a post up the road for a few years, so today I decided that I would stop on our way home from shifting our cattle at our run off, and take a picture of it.

This boot looks like it has a bit of history behind it. It is now home to a few spiders, lichen, fungi and has a new blade of grass shooting up in the cracks on the sole of it.
