Grow one

It is my Nana's 88th birthday today. I called in to see her, for the first time in over a month, but she was out. Which is a good thing.

She called me tonight to berate me for having spent money on her. Wish she'd just accept that we want to do nice things for her, and not get huffy about it.

Glad she is still here with us, as we had a pretty close call with her 18 months ago. Just wish she was happier.
