Nymphalidae

[Back blip]  My scarf pattern (5th Jan) is called Nymphalidea (as it looks like butterfly wings).  This butterfly hatched on my cumquat tree this morning, from a caterpillar my hubby wanted me to "get rid of".  Not sure if it's a nymphalidea or not, but it was just beautiful watching it sit in the morning light waiting for its wings to harden (or whatever they do).
