Agapanthus in Bloom

Ten years ago, I replanted two agapanthus bulbs which I had taken from my mother's garden. Over the years, I have propagated a bank of them by dividing bulbs and supporting self seeding. Today I have a magnificent display of blooms which brighten up a prevously dull area and I love them.

I understand that the word agapanthus comes from the Greek language and translates broadly to the flower of love.
