Paddling to the Big Splash!

Half a dozen children and 3 grandparents kayaked 500 metres out of the bay to an old pohutukawa tree on the lake edge ( no road access) where for years there has been a stout rope attached to a branch overhanging the lake...an hour of swinging out on the flying fox and landing in the lake before paddling back go lunch!
