Black Knecked Swan........

A rare find over at Ivy Lake, Chichester this morning. I don't usually take any bread or food to give to the Ducks, Swans or birds when i go to the Lakes at Chichester, but more often than not the water birds come paddling over looking for some sort of food.
There was quite a rush when i arrived on the lake side this morning, and leading the rush by quite a distance was this Black Knecked Swan. As you can see from the turbulence on the water this Swan was really putting in an effort, perfectly mirror like ahead of him, huge swirl of water behind him.
I felt guilty not having any food to give him when he finally arrived at the lake side.
He be hugely jealous of the Bacon sandwich i had when i eventually got home at around 8-30 this morning.
Personally i prefer Chop sauce on my bacon sandwiches............."Lovely".......
