Did the sun shine today?

It was stocktaking duty today in the Red Cross Shop so we were closed until 10.30am. There were many sad faces at the door! Home to grab a hasty snack lunch before an afternoon committee meeting of our History of the Village project. We are aware that time is racing and we must accelerate our efforts if we are to meet our September launch. It was nearly supper time before we finished and the village was in darkness. Nothing on telly so early to bed with Midnight's Children. My head still buzzing with Yesteryear Marston so I gave up it up as a bad job!
