Whitby

I took this photo more as a record of a visit to Whitby. The walk down to the River Esk down these steps and then along Church Street is very atmospheric especially at night. Still a real sense of a port. Conjuring up images of sailing ships, pirates, and Dracula. Bram Soker, author, found inspiration while staying in the town in 1890.
