Drive home from picking Adrian up at work, sure looks like it could storm later.
I went swimming earlier, in the Olympic outdoor pool at 11:30, it was sooooooo busy. I had to queue for about 15 minutes to get in. Luckily there were 3 lanes designated to swimming, so I pretty much had a lane to myself. Although I think lane swimming can be a little like driving. Kind of dangerous and you have to think for everyone else. At one point I was going to overtake a dude who had joined me, excpet he cut me off 'cos he was swimming diagonally down the lane and all over the place. Safe to say he didn't continue attempting to do whatever he was trying to do. Then there were the kids lane hopping all over the place at the worst time. And the people who lounge all over the lanes-there's nothing worse than a dip in the lane dividers, one can easily kick it when doing breaststroke or catch your fingers when doing backstroke.
Apart from all the mayhem it wasn't a bad swim really, especially considering how busy it was, it could have been way worse.
Oooooooo, it's just started to thunder.
