Owls - day 3

I don't indulge in "selfies" as a rule, but in tnis case was obliged to.
This gold owl has been round my neck for about 30 years, and so had to be included. Sorry about the visible white scar down the centre of my sternum. i could not blot it out. It is evidence of a mechanical aortic heart valve replacement done just over ten years ago in The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney - and was a life-saving job for which I am eternally grateful.
The valve is titanium and ceramic and made in Switzerland, and I tick like a little Swiss cuckoo clock - which some would say is entirely appropriate!
