Disappeared and Disappearing

These lovely marzipan chocolates are rapidly disappearing!

Sorry I disappeared for a couple of days - I had an emergency call from Dad at Monday lunchtime. It was a medical problem that his carer couldn't deal with as she had been taken ill and it was very urgent (to do with apparatus that he has to wear which had failed). I'm the only other person who can deal with it, so I had to throw some things into the car and Stuart drove me straight over. I packed enough to stay for a couple of nights, because it might have failed again and have needed instant replacing and I knew he couldn't call on anyone else. All seems to be well now, except me! I was already feeling groggy and got increasingly so while I was there - seems to be a boomerang of the blessed virus. We went shopping in Chichester this morning for some essential food items for him and I was so 'out of it' that he noticed there was something wrong, and I had to admit it (I'd tried to hide it so as not to worry him). Fortunately Stuart was with us as well as he had had the car, so I didn't have to drive home. Anyway, I'm back now and taking plenty of Paracetamol. Just hope there's no more problems for poor Dad...
