Je suis Charlie

The news from Paris today was shocking.

Over dinner we struggled to find the right words to explain it to the kids, but we had no answers for their perfectly reasonable questions about why it had happened.  

Maybe not linked at all, but there were two gendarmes outside basketball this evening, reassuring folk?  

Otherwise a day of second coating the bathroom floor, picking parsnips, planning a birthday and thinking about community.
