Safety chain

I took my bike in to be serviced this morning. I knew the brake pads needed replaced but they phoned me an hour later to say 'your chain is totally knackered - rusted and could snap at any minute'. Maybe I shouldn't be admitting that I'd not noticed! 

So I now have a fully functioning bike that won't have bits breaking or falling off it including a brand new chain and cogs. And I must pay more attention to bike maintenance!
