Ok, tenuous link #- oh I've forgotten! Yep, she's a royal. She can't get off the train, she must keep going and keeping crazy schedules in order to make everyone happy even though she's old enough to retire and spend her afternoons sitting around Buckingham Palace drinking tea. Go Queenie!

So, we saw Queen Elizabeth II today. She was appearing in town to open up a new leisure centre. It seems she had a packed day planned. She had already been to Chester Zoo in the morning, then after the leisure centre gig she was off to Liverpool. I am not a royalist, really, but the husband wanted to go so... Anyway she arrived, got out of her fabulous Bentley as it obviously wasn't equipped to drive around to the back of the leisure centre. For a fleeting moment she stood, shook some hands while people (including us) furiously snapped pictures. Then she got into a land rover to drive around the back. Why? I don't know but that's royalty for you.
