C is for Charming Coot Chicks

This pair of coot chicks are early new arrivals on our local lake. They were being cared for by their two doting parents. I chose this photograph because I liked the way this pair were centred in the picture. This was hard to achieve as they were quite agile swimmers.

Can you see the rather spooky reflection behind them? Just above the first chick is a reflection that looks just like a fox's head watching them!
