Crotch vs. Crutch

A disgustingly wet day (although I never had high hopes for it after reading the weather forecast predicted 100% chance of rain from pre sunup to post sundown) alleviated only by confusing my students with the words 'stationary' & 'stationery' and 'crotch' & 'crutch', oh and sharing that the word of the year was 'vape'. Their homework? To find out what the German word of 2014 was.
