Naked

After 5 years, I took the covers off my Dahlquist DQ 12's for a cleaning. 

A vintage 1990's speaker with a very innovative design giving great sound imaging and still sounding great!  The woofer is a closed suspension design, while the midrange is mounted in something like a large hard paper roll and is ported like a bass reflex.  The tweater and midrange live apart from the woofer on a thick board that is isolated and mounted above and in a different plane than the woofer...

OK... I babble...  lovely sound from this old relic and beautiful style even when nude!  :)
