An 'A1' Rainbow

Not a lot going on today - too tired after waking up after just 4 hours sleep! I did fix a couple of storage units to the wall downstairs - to house our rapidly expanding DVD collection.

As we were setting off on our walk it began to cloud over - typical after a nice sunny morning - but it didn't last, however it did give rise to this rainbow that seems to be rooted to the A1 on the horizon.

Somehow the colours never seem as bright as in real life even with a saturation boost!

I did find when when processing my shots today that there are loads of little spots on the images - took ages to get rid of them. A check for dirt has revealed a large amount of dust (or something) on the sensor. Not visible to the naked eye, but it shows up on test shots. I have tried using the camera 'self clean' but it has not shifted them. Next step is to try a full sensor clean - eek!
