8th January 2015: Corn-utopia???

There is an Agricultural Show being staged by the agricultural students this week.  On my way to class, I pass the fields of sunflowers, petunias, dianthus et al, plus the plots of various vegetables which have been lovingly tended and are free from genetic modification (if I understood correctly).

There are several varieties of corn: yellow, orange, purple... but I like the students' artistic creativity in one field where the corn looks like antennae seeking signals from the heavens.  Beats crop circles!
