Chagall window, Chichester cathedral.

The inscription beside this window says it was unveiled in 1978. The theme of the window is Psalm 150: "O praise God in his holiness - Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord". The small figures are of people in festive mood glorifying the Lord. The musicians are playing the instruments refered to in the psalm: horn, drum, flutes, strings and cymbals. In the centre two figures hold up the seven brachned candlestick, while David, author of the psalm, crowns the whoel composition playing upon his harp.
