A brighter moment

It was raining when I left for work this morning and it was still raining when I went home afterwards. Just as I got home though the sky brightened very briefly in the distance and I got my only glimpse at the sun of the entire day. It disappeared again very soon after.

My colleague was still sick so I did another few hours overtime today and got home later than usual again.
