Morning visitor

Happened to be working on my computer, when a loud bang against the window drew my attention to the fact that a pigeon had smashed into the glass.
It seemed quite stunned and deposited itself on the balcony rail for a long time attempting to recover I suppose.
I noticed it had an identification ring around its leg so my guess is that it's a homing pigeon.
