It can't be much fun being a thrush in winter

Actually, I often think it can't be much fun at any time.  If they're not struggling to survive through a harsh winter, they're working themselves ragged singing, nesting, breeding, feeding chicks, moulting or migrating.  And then it's time to start all over again...
