Sour Face

If I were to indulge in a little anthropomorphism I'd like to think that the look on this young vervet monkeys face was a reaction to finding out just how incredibly sour an unripe granadilla can be.

Like humans I imagine that young monkeys learn these lessons the hard way. However any sympathy I may have had with this little one was tempered by the thought of how much prime ripe fruit his kind had stolen from my living room in the past - on occasion with me sitting in the room watching with disbelief!
