The swimming pool

We are blessed here in Iceland with heated outdoor swimming pools. Swimming is my motion of choice and I really love starting the day with a swim and "heitur pottur", which is the Icelandic word for jacuzzi. Then there's the steam bath and the final touch is an ice cold shower.

This week I've not been sleeping well, with the result that I've not gone swimming as often as I "should". Today I didn't even go until it was 10 o'clock, 2 hours later than usual. But on the bright side: 

1) I did go 
2) I didn't have to swim in pitch black, as it dawned while I was there
3) I had very nice conversations with at least 3 people
