Marlborough Town Hall.

After some time working at home early this morning, I travelled to Marlborough to complete some work. I enjoy visiting Marlborough, I have known this branch for many years having been involved in various projects over several years, it is always a friendly place to visit. The town itself is very old,  there is evidence of people living in the area for around two and a half thousand years.The first written record of the town appears in the Domesday Book in 1087. This picture is of the town hall, a Victorian building, which stands proudly at the top of the wide high street.
