Is my dinner ready?

After 18:00 hrs it must be dinner time!
From 17:00 hrs, Hector starts to anticipate his evening meal. It was his usual Skinner's Duck and Rice with a little cold chicken. The Skinner's is slightly larger bitesize so Hector does crunch it up rather which makes a v satisfying sound. It has also slowed his eating which is good.
Today we had a lovely visit from Monty's Mummy, aka Mrs Cloughaman, but without Monty as he is still convalescing
at home. Hector was v excited and noticed some tasty morsels in her pocket!
Mrs C and I used to work together many years ago. It was her husband on Blip who made a comment on Hector's page that has led to our re-union. Amazing! From our small staff, four of us have had Borders since 1992.
Together with our former head we enjoyed a lovely lunch in spite of the inclement weather.
Hopefully when the summer comes, Monty will be able to join us for a gentle walk!
