Bulrush

CH and I took the mower for servicing today, to a company down by the canal in Stratford. I spotted the floating duck island I saw a few weeks ago in CoffeePotter's journal, and I did get a shot of it complete with a pair of mallards, but it was a little soft for blipping. 

My favourite shot of the day turned out to be this one of the bulrush - not least because I associate bulrushes quite strongly with my childhood in Lancashire, and I rarely see them these days.
