Went to the shop to say hello to Cécile who's been sick & give her comfort oatcakes & fudge from Orkney.

Glad to hear from Mouse that although all the schools were closed today, the "severe gale force 11" did very little damage - home fires are burning!
Orkney can cope with wind - what trees there are keep their heads down...
