Empty lot, empty life

They cut down all the trees im the old abandoned lot next to my house. All the trees. They did it to force the large group of homeless people who had set up a pretty hearty camp there, into moving along to some place else and staying off my porch,and the porches of my neighbors,where things had started to go missing :/
I am sad to see the trees go. My once shady lane has been thrust into the cold light of day, our sanctuary from the harsh heat of summer and the cold icy winds of winter is no more. On the upside, Hello new neighbors!
