A Right Couple Of Charlies

My Blip Godson (BGS) suggested a blip meet this afternoon and it was realised within a few hours. Quite a feat given our travel agendas mean we rarely coincide in town and planning ahead is a real headache. But if the call comes and both of us are in town then we'll be there . . . no question. SteinJ has recently completed 1,000 blips and I was the instigation of it all when we caught up for dinner over three years ago in São Paulo. It's interesting to see him go through the different stages of life as a blipper. He is following a path to blipping maturity that makes me very proud as his Blip Godfather (BGF). Ah, the joys of mentoring!

Our talk ranged over all the usual subjects from work to blip and families but ended, as it had to, on recent events in France. We are a right couple of Charlies when it comes down to it. Proud of it and determined to remain so.
